Kite Shoulder Button Bracket

$10.00

Bracket to hold Kite’s shoulder board.

Description

Bracket to hold Kite’s shoulder PCB. Kite provides a PCB along with his kits, so you don’t need to buy a full shoulder set, just by this bracket to hold in his board. This bracket accommodates a 2 buttons setup. It is a derivation of my normal kits, altered slightly to work with Kite’s.

Kit only includes printed pieces. Does not include screws, buttons, or board.

KiteCap

Only KiteBracket needs support. Print 2 caps, everything else is just one.

Installation Guide

  1. Place main bracket into area above battery compartment. Push down firmly on all corners to ensure it is flat.
  2. Insert drill guide into button wells, drill pilot hole, then widen hole to appropriate size.
  3. Place buttons into holes (Place spacers into buttons to prevent button sag. Spacers can be made by cutting pieces off of the plastic screen protector)
  4. Cut conductive pads. Snip off surround lip of conductive pad(IMPORTANT! Leaving the lip raises the pad further and creates more sag).
  5. Place conductive pad guide hole onto the bracket peg.
  6. Place board onto the back, and then insert a screw through the center hole.
  7. Afterwards, place the left and right brackets around the screw post, as shown in the pictures.
  8. Finally, place the screw post caps on top, to push the left and right brackets down and screw the caps in.
