DMG Shoulder Bracket

Description

Need shoulder button? Hate the sound and feel of tactile buttons? Want them to feel like the front buttons and be able to use matching colors? The DMG bracket is what you want.

The first bracket around to use a custom board and printed parts to add original gameboy buttons to your build. Guaranteed to sit lower on the back of the gameboy than any other similar design around. That means a more comfortable position ! All parts are screwed into place, meaning the bracket is extremely secure and and will not move or dislodge with use. It also means you won’t have to use hot glue, making for a much cleaner build! Buttons for the full set come in original maroon color, or black. The full set includes the soft silicone switches, but original conductive pads may be used if you order the stand alone version and do not have silicone switches.

Full set: Plastic bracket, board, drill guide/spacer, screws, buttons, soft switches

Stand-Alone: Plastic bracket, board, drill guide/spacer, screws

Instructions:

1. Place the bottom bracket directly into place, above the battery compartment.
2. Insert the circular drill guide into the bottom bracket, drill pilot hole, then do the same to the other side.
3. Open the pilot holes to desired diameter using step drill bit.
4. Place buttons into the wells.
5. Break off inner piece of drill guides, place them into the buttons to be used as spacers. This allows for the buttons to actuate properly. This is REQUIRED.
6. Solder the switches into place ( or cut conductive pads and place them on guide posts).
7. Place the board over the buttons and use provided screw in center post.
8. Insert side bracket pieces over screw posts, and firmly push them into place.
9. Screw in side pieces
10. Solder wires from shoulder board to control board (only one ground needs to be wired, others are for convenience)
